ABOUT

Elizabeth Kelley started SLO Cranial because of the impact Cranial Sacral therapy can have on a person's body and life.  This further impacts to have benefits for the whole family.  It can help alleviate symptoms of chronic illnesses like Lyme disease, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic migraines, Alzheimers, brain injuries, and reconnects those with Autism to the world.  The list goes on and on of the positive effects of CST.  This therapy is front and center of the work here.

A little bit about Elizabeth. She is a wife and a mom of two beautiful boys that are full of life and energy.  They both have special abilities and strengths while the oldest struggles with ASD and ADHD. The youngest struggles with speech.  She is on a homeschool journey and always researching ways to help her children learn in their best way.   Along her journey to help her family, she loves to share what she learns.  Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST) is now part of daily homeschool life to help with focus, reconnecting, and Tristan's migraines. It is also helping Ellis with his lazy tongue in speech.

Elizabeth has been doing bodywork for 18 years.  She discovered cranial sacral from friends and colleagues that have had amazing results.  Grew up on the central coast and spent time back east where she went to the Muscular Therapy Institute where they teach an in-depth study of the body and how muscles and ligaments can affect the body.  It is a muscle specific type of massage that hones in on the anatomy of the muscle and soft tissues.

In 2009 Elizabeth started studying birth, pregnancy massage, and postpartum issues incorporating massage with being a labor doula. She loves working with families at this precious and beautiful time.  She continues to help new mothers and babies with massage, CST, and emotional work. These things can help in this amazing and precious time of transition.  Working with new babies, new families, mothers and dads  with CranioSacral, SomatoEmotional Release is an amazing way to start your life.  Since she knows this time can be vulnerable and difficult she is happy to find something to help others.

She loves digging in deep to anatomy, understanding things at a cellular level of the brain, getting down to root causes, and finding new ways to help her clients by expanding her skills.  Exploring CranioSacral and SomatoEmotional Therapies is exciting because it incorporates al this and she is seeing results in herself and her clients.

Lastly, a note about hobbies. She loves them all. But she consistently always comes back to designing and sewing clothes, hiking, and jewelry making. When she isn't playing with her kids or working.

See you in the office.
